CCA and dealers Training Huntley Experiment Station
Please plan to attend on August 8, 2019, a CCA and Dealer training program at the Huntley Research Station, in Huntley MT, sponsored by the Mountain States Crop Education Association, and Montana State University. The CCA and dealer training will cover many key topics in agriculture production. CCA’s will be able to earn 8 credits: Nutrient Management: 1.5, Soil & Water Management: 2.5, Integrated Pest Management: 2, Crop Management: 1.5, Professional Development: 0.5, plus dealers can earn points towards their dealer and applicator license (3 points have been applied for).
Dr. Ken Kephart will give us a tour of the facility at Huntley plus a look at their 2019 research. Dr. Clain Jones, Dr. Kent McVay, Susan Tallman, and Dr Vipan Kumar, will give updates on the latest info on Acidic Soils & Saline Seeps, Pulse Water Management, Irrigation and Water Erosion Strategies, and a Marestail update. Dr. Jack Brown form Idaho will give an update on winter Canola production. Dr. Andrew Kness will update us on the lasts news about glyphosate. The registration fee for the training is $40.00 per individual if paid by 8-1-19 or $50.00 after 8-1-17. This includes breaks and a noon meal. The training will start at 8:00 a.m. sharp, coffee and rolls will be served starting at 7:30 (registration).
If you register online, a $5.00 fee will be assessed to offset credit card fees.
